Hi Folks:

I'm in the process of learning Microsoft Access 2007. I want to design a database and using Microsofts 2007 Runtime make it an application. Here is my question:

Our company has an intranet. Is it possible for me to design the application and then put the database on the network? Not everyone has the networked "mapped" as a drive, so they would have to enter the URL: it would be somethinglike:
Is it possible to have the app connect to the database on a network without having drives mapped (that is the network mapped as say drive G.). I would just like to know if its possible before I spend many hours developing and working my way through it only to find it may not work as I intended.

Thanks for any help/advise.

Matthew

Use UNC instead of URL.

Hope This Helps, PH.
