Access 2003 Freezes upon Launch ?

New computer;
Windows XP Pro
Dual Core 64 bit Processor (Intel)
New Office 2003 Professional.

All programs in 2003 Professional work fine except Access freezes upon opening and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to close it.

I can't find any way to correct this problem.

Any idea?

Before exploring any other possibilities I would have to suggest a straightforward uninstall, reboot, and re-install of Office 2003 Professional.

Gosh I hate doing that.

Office 2003 is so anti-mess-with you just never know what will happen.
