can VB talk to Access 2000 ?

if so how? i.e. what reference or components are necessary ?

DAO or ADO will both do it if you just want to access data in an Access Database. If you want to manipulate access objects like forms, modules etc you will need The Microsoft Access 9.0 Object Library. Durkin
