Hi,
I've got a fairly complex database with 80+ tables, 120 + forms, 21 modules, 50 + classes, and an Autoexec startup Macro. I distribute the system to platforms running W2000. I develop using XP Pro on a dual XP/W2000 platform. My Xp system has Access 2000 installed and the W2000 OS has Access 2002 installed.
Having developed a database and associated VBA under XP Pro, I then load it into the W2000 system and try to run it under Access2002. It fails, giving some totally unhelpful(as usual) microsoft failure message.
Query 1. Why should it fail?
By generating a blank database under Access 2002 and importing all the forms, modules, queries etc from the Access 2000 system I can recreate the original system to run OK as access 2002. But it's half the size!! approx 10Mb as opposed to 20+ Mb
Query 2. How can this be?
John
