Is there a big difference between Access 2000 and Access 2002?

No.

When Access 2K was released it became known as the little brother of A95. A95 was by far the worst most bug ridden release of Access until A2K. In it’s early days, MS was struggling to keep A2K a sellable project. A2K2 was simply a very big service release to A2K. It did everything A2k was supposed to do and did it remarkably well.

Of course, to really confound everyone, MS released SR2 for Access 2K which eliminated all of the bugs. The differences between the two versions are minimal. A2K2 is slightly more stable than A2K but that is probably MS hype. Either version is now very good and the only reason in my opinion to favor A2k2 is that it usually gets service releases prior to A2K.

If that is not important to you, flip a coin.

Thanks for the info. I am suppose to be converting all of our A97 to A2002 and didn't even know there was a A2002. I have worked with 2000, and was hoping they would be similar.
Thanks again !
