Access 2000 slower than 97?

Hi All

Tried converting a 97 db to 2000. After solving all the usual problems (DAO, corrupt VB etc) the front end is fine - except it is really slow.

Just clicking on a button to open another form is taking much longer than expected.

All object have been imported into the new db. What else can be done to speed things up? Will creating the forms from scratch help?
