Hello,

From everything I have read you must have the deployment and packaging wizard that is on the Access 2000 Developers version if you want run an application on a PC that does not have access installed. My question is this. Does the runtime version have to be installed on the PC before the application will work or is there a way to have an application run without access or the runtime version installed. From what I can tell you at least have to have the runtime version installed.

Thanks.

Correct. You must install the runtime version at the very least.

You should not need the deployment wizard on the client machine, only on the machine used to create the installer package...

That is correct, you have to at least have the runtime installed.

Thanks James and Markus for your help. I have an application I may sell. Do you know if it is legal to include the runtime version with an application you wish to sell or do you have to have some type of license?

Thanks.
