Hi -
I am having a problem when trying to install a runtime version of access on a Windows 2000 machine.
I am using Access 2000 Premium and creating the runtime package on a Windows XP Pro machine. I have installed (AFAIK) all the latest patches for Office 2k and Windows 2k (Service Pack4!)
Still the problem persists. When trying to install the applicatio on the W2k machine I get the following error :
"Setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date..."
It then goes on to give me the oppertunity to update these files with those in the installation and prompts to re-boot PC. However, after re-boot installation does not continue and when attempting to run the installation again - I get the same error message.
Can anyone help ? I seem to remember comming across this problem before - but cant recall if there was a solution or what it was.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
