Hi folks,

Here's one I've not seen before... Not sure how to proceed!
I have an Access 2000 DB project which I've been developing for a week or tow. Project works fine BUT it has go to a point now where it will NOT compile?
I've tried opening the project using the /decompile option and retried compiling thereafter, but to no avail.
In the VBA IDE, selecting the debug menu option clearly shows the project needs recompiling, as the Compile option is enabled. However, each time I try to recompile, it appears to do nothing, it reports NO errors and after each attempt the debug -> compile option remains enabled. In my experience this debug -> compile option is always disabled after a successful compilation.

Any ideas on this would be most welcome

Hello.

All I might add is to make sure that You have latest Service Pack installed (Office SP). This might be an reference issue, or worse, old vbrun6.dll. All problems concerning compilation are usually resolved when SP is installed (it deletes vbrun6.dll, which usually makes trouble).

Try that.

Thanks for that. I've all the latest service packs so I'm confident its not the issue. I've managed to get around it be creating a new database and importing all the content from the old into the new. Must be some form of spurious corruption in the original .mdb file, seems to work fine now, Thanks for your comments
