I have an ACCESS database that I want to export to a comma delimited file. The database can be exported to Excel or HTML, but not to a text file. There is an "error loading dll." I tried MS's site and google without too much luck. Any help/suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks Ronnie

hi,
I have an ACCESS database that I want to export to a comma delimited file. The database can be exported to Excel or HTML, but not to a text file.
This is a contradictory statement.

A comma delimited file IS a text file. I do not understand.

What were you doing when you got this error message?

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]

Hi Skip, WHen I use the export opetion and save file type HTML or Excel, a file is created. However, when I use the export option, save file as type txt; I get an can't open dll error. Thanks...

Thanks, after following the instructions in the articles, tried to repair Office via add/remove and reinstalled the service pack, I am still having the same problem. I did notice that my system does not have the ACWZTOOL.MDE file listed in the article and I could not find the file on my OEM CD. Does anyone know the purpose of this file and were I can find the file. Also, I am using Window's 7 and don't know if the file needs to be added to the registry or how to add the file to the registry. Thanks for the help. Ronnie

I found the file, copied it to my hard drive and that still did not solve the problem.
