Hi! I have an Access 2000 Dbase. One of the tables stores:
Team (TRN),
Tournament ID (TID)
Fastest Time (Time)

A second table shows amongst other things:
Tournament ID (TID)
Tournament Date (Tdate)

I need to be able to run a query which:
(a) Shows only the times for each team over the last 4 months (anything earlier doesn't count)
(b) Within the 4 month period I need to find the team's fastest time for the last 3 tournaments they have competed at.

I've started by:
1. Creating a query which asks for all the teams which have run over the last 4 months and showing the date they competed. But now I'm well and truly stuck!
2. I figure maybe my next step is to create a second query (using the data from the 1st query? To ask for the last 3 tournaments each team has competed at? But I can't figure out what the query should say?
3. Then maybe I need a 3rd and final query (run from query (2) asking for the fastest time for each team - but again I can't think how I word the query?

Can anyone help? Am I going about this in 'roughly' the right way and if so can anyone tell me what the 2nd and 3rd queries should say?

Thanks

Doreen
