So far I have 2 other people at work stumped on this one. I am trying to create a userfriendly way to run a report with a Form that has three Combo boxes. One is a Period field (or Month) second is a year field and third is a person's name. I have the cross tab working off another query that has the Form references. Now when I try to run it it gives me an error message "Microsoft Jet engine does not recognize '[Forms][formName]...etc.' as a valid field name or expression." So it seems that the Crosstab qry is having trouble with reading this. Can anyone explain this oddity. I cannot think of anyway to do this or have the report run where someone can change the report to what they want it to be, it works if I hard code in the filters. hope someone can help Thank you!
