I have a database that uses different hidden forms (for default values etc). In access 97 you only had ONE icon in the taskbar. With access 2000 you have for every form a different icon in the taskbar.
Is there any possibility to prevent this. I only want 1 item in the taskbar.
Thank you for your feedback.

a new and exciting feature of ACC 2000!!!

if you only have your db for you, go to TOOLS+OPTIONS+VIEW TAB and uncheck WINDOWS IN TASKBAR. if this has to be done for a lot of users, then you will want to do it programmatically so none of your users will experience the same wonderful thing. you can use:

Application.SetOption "ShowWindowsInTaskBar", False

to turn it off of users' machines when your db launches.

good luck--g

thank you for your answer, ginger.
As I don't know the code thing, I sent a database that display the options menu and then generates a msg box requesting to uncheck the option.
Silly of me, but it works now !
thank you !
