Hi,

Using Access 97. I have a field that contains text only. When I have a value of a word with double vowels, access is putting the accent mark over the 1st vowel.

ie. ENTREE becomes ENTRÉE

I have a form that uses a combo box from this field - that does not put the accent mark. Thus it doesn't match the two up.

Any ideas how to either turn the accent off, or make the combo box include it?

Thanks.

Lisa.

Click on Tools, then AutoCorrect. De-select the check box for
Code:
"Replace text as you type"
.

Your example of ENTREE becoming ENTRÉE is one of many found the the box below.

Hoc nomen meum verum non est.

Thanks CosmoKramer!

I figured there was some setting that I could change. But didn't see anything under options.
