Has anyone experience of programming Qsig features on BC10 MD110 using GFT rather than UUI? (the connection is a Nortel Meridian switch.)
One problem seems to be that the MD110 sends a "cmninform" message which the Meridian switch doesn`t understand and returns an IE of "not implemented" I guess this could be a reason why CAB cannot be activated?? (can "cmninform" be turned off?) I have configured for GFT and no UUI messages, name display seems to work in the forward direction but not in the reverse, i.e no "connected name"
On the same note, has anyone found a way of connecting "back to back"(using one MD) and getting the features to work?? I think careful consideration has to be given to the numbering!!
