ac3 problem

I can`t import clips when audio is ac3,
message say unsupported format..

Message sounds very clear and unambiguous to me.

Convert to a supported format before import (eg WAV).

Use a program like Sound Forge (from Sonic Foundry) or the shareware Goldwave (
There are lots of other programs around that will do this. Look on any freeware/shareware site for audio editors.
