It's not a PC with Windows. Describe your errors on this forum and maybe some folks can help with suggestions to correct the errors.
I agree with John and Archtelecom. If the errors are there a reboot may only make matters worse. List error codes and any other symptoms and the people here can help. Or call your vendor before taking such a drastic step, could be something as simple as a patch.
20 years ago a reboot usually cleaned up a lot of problems. i haven't rebooted an 81 in 10 years during a maint problem. on a upgrade, of course.. these don't work like nt servers, you sorta need to fix the problem, nortels not going to fix it on a reboot. depending on the err codes, a reboot may do the system down thing real well, just never do the system back up worth a darn.. i did a er repair callout on a sunday, cust rebooted sat night due to a power change, we got it back up monday afternoon after 6 trips to the airport to get parts

I poke a switch in the eye only when I want to show the switch who is boss, hehe. For the most part these switches are designed to run 24/7. Typically as stated already a reboot does not resolve any issue. Post the codes you are getting, and perhaps we can help further.

I wish Nortel made PC's and the software. They wouldn't lock up or "leak". Of course they would cost $20,000 each and their clocks wouldn't keep time.

MAT0003 Login denied: too many sessions.

DTA0224 loop ch DTI loop audit has found channel (ch) to be in an invalid HALFDISCONNECT
state (trunk lock-up). An disconnect attempt is being made on the CHNL.

Ok so you have the MAT0003. I will assume that your MAT/OTM has schedules to perform collection and parsing. Are you or some other tech. using MAT/OTM during the day. If so, check you schedules, and adjust your login times accordingly.
The DTA error. Look at this error and as listed above, look for the associated information ex.
DTA0224 16 10. The 16 in the example would be your loop 16, and the 10 is the channel of that span. I would log into your switch, go to ld 60 and at the prompt type
LCNT 16. This will give you counters. These counters highlight a possible circuit and or network side issue. If any of the #'s in this counter are greater than lets say 50, type RCNT 16. This reset the counter. I would almost think the DTA error shows up alot and on several channels. If this is the case, never hurts to call your provider and have them perform some testing. What does this loop connect to?

ok thanks everyone,my swith have 4 PTY'S.I can't connect to my option 81c Because of my TTY14(pty3) has been disabled.
and now i have connect to my system.thanks But now I don't understand why the mat224 has appered.
