Hi there,

I've a problem - whenever i quit from DOS using exit command back to windows, my system hangs. My OS is Win 2000. What could be the reason? And how can i rectify this? Anyone plz help me.

Thank you,

Shri.

I'm curious how you have accomplished this. I am assuming that when you say you are running DOS you mean real-mode DOS outside of windows and not the command prompt that is located in the accessories menu. Windows 2000, to my knowlodge, does not have real dos integrated into the OS. This is why I say I am curious how you are running DOS with Win 2k on your system. Please explain further what mode of DOS you are referring to. Justin

Hi there,

I mean to say that when i'm using DOS which is in the accessories menu and not in the real-mode one, i'm unable to quit. If i quit from DOS, my system hangs and i've reboot it again. Can anyone solve this??

Awaiting for ur replies.
