About Profile utility in VC++ environment.

Hi,

I am new to VC++ environment. I need some help regarding "profile" utility in VC++ environment. I need to analyse the program execution in terms of time and memory which, i know, can be monitored using profile option of VC++[Lst submenu in "Build"]. In windows 98, this is active by default. I am presently having win2k with me. This profile otion is not active. How do i make active for my use ?????
