Am I just being impatient here? I had the error on EDD failure telling me to do a ABKO. I started a ABKO and it seemed to go fine then it told me to put disk 1 back in (I only used 1 floppy)and typed 'a' to continue. It appeared this would do a verify maybe but it has been an hour and fifteen minutes. The maintenence terminal won't accept input, but does output regular timestamps etc.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it. Steven Wright

I found a reference below that indicates that a faulty CPU or split and reload could be required?.

Problems with Dump
Unable to Dump the switch see below for errors produced

Enter pdt and although you could get in there was an error message produced.

Done!

What was done to fix :-
The Meridian was put into SPLIT Mode , but attempting a Dump from both sides failed.
Meridian taken out of SPLIT
CPU 1 was the active side. Couldn't dump from CPU 1
Switched processors and could Dump.
CPU 1 appears faulty but in fact it was CMDU 1 that was the problem
CMDU 1 changed.
