Hi all
I finally manage to "capture" the output of the switch CDR through hyper terminal - thanks to your help.
I have now one more question, can I have a record in my CDR that represents an abounded call? - I guest want to be able to see when a call was abounded.
I have a Definity G3v9 and BCMS Vu but I’m using hyper terminal to "capture" the CDR data.
10ex for your help.

Glad you confirmed it was a typo i was worried i was being a dumb ass and there was such a thing as an abounded call ....

Abandoned calls
To see abandoned calls in CDR, the following steps must be done.
1. Check first if the ‘CDR report’ option of the trunks is set to ‘r’, which must be registered. You can check this with the command ‘list trunk group’. The field CDR of the trunks, which must be registered, must be set with ‘r’. If this value is not set, the setting must be changed. This can be done with the command ‘change trunk group X’, where X is the number of the trunk.
2. Secondly, the option ‘sec-dur’ of the CDR settings must be set. This can be done with the command ‘change system-parameters cdr’. On the second at position 3, the option ‘sec-dur’ can be set.
