Hi, I am new in using AAfD and have been encountering this issue of users receiving the error "License Server Unreachable. Grace period expired. No license available", when we have license available and WebLM server URL is correct on AAfD. Workaround is we reinstall but then when it is nearing 30 days, it will give the "grace period" warning again. We have the correct license type set already (licensetype 2, advanced). WebLM is on SMGR. AAfD users are on VPN, and can ping the WebLM IP. Installed the latest version as well. Anyone else encountered this issue and can share what was the cause/resolution? Thank you!

Can your users PC's reach the license server? Do they have the correct formatting for the license server DNS name or IP?

They have to be able to hit the server via http or https depending on your configuration. Ping isn't just good enough.

Thanks for your replies. Yes, correct format of license server, and able to get to the web page, https. It was working fine last year, then suddenly this year issue started, when nearing 30 days it will show that grace period warning.

What are you using for the Licensing Server? AAfD is not supported on System Manager. Are you sure you didn't have "temporary" licenses?

Ok, we saw what was causing the issue. Our AAfD product license was version 1 in SMGR, and the AAfD user's apps were already in version 2 (we upgraded the app version when we first saw the issue and thought it was resolved, until it showed grace period error again after 30days). v1 is also already in end of support. So we needed to update the license to product v2 and installed in stand alone webLM since v2 won't work in SMGR webLM.

Our AAfD was working fine using SMGR webLM before, and started to have this issue this year. Anyway, all good now! Thanks to all who responded.

your license file has a version number? Mine doesn't. What is the name of the licenses you have in SMGR weblm?

Sorry for the very late reply, I forgot about this. It's named VDIA on SMGR licenses, same name when we moved the licenses to the stand alone webLM.
Then it says VDIA R1 or version 1 something like that on SMGR. Should be R2, it will show up with R2 in the name when downloaded on PLDS.

And yes, the license is version dependent and a version 1.x license will not work on any AAfD version 2.xxx. But there are the latest versions of 1 still under support (1.7.41.10.3002 32 bit for example is approved for use with CCaaS).
