As we do not have vectoring (by some miracle, we do actually have indoor plumbing) I have to do some fancy footwork to squeeze all I can out of this here switch (G3rR7).
After a call (from one of our dealers) is in a hunt group for 2 minutes they cover to an auto attendant and hear "We're sorry you are having to hold. You may press 1 to leave a voicemail message, 2 to remian in the queue, or 0 for an operator". The queue it "remains in" is actually another hunt group. For the sake of our agents and sales managers I call it a priority hunt group. The agents, using 6416D+Ms, can log-in to both hunt groups and I programmed q-time buttons on all of their phones with a threshhold of 1. Basically it lights as soon a call gets to the priority hunt group. The agents know to makes themselves unavailable in the first queue and pay attention to the priority calls when present. Since the agents are logged into both hunt groups, how does this affect their stats? Say I do "list bcms agent xxxx". Is the time here reflective of both groups? Or some bizarre, screwed up, half breed, half baked, one world government, conglomeration, two headed monster (shall I go on?)? Total staffed time never shows more than 60 minutes.
And what of my whacky idea? Any way to do it better? I have three differant groups using this method and seems to be working well.
