Earlier versions of Notes would occasionally 'forget' which app would open which files. The easy fix is to open winfile goto file>associate on the C drive. type in the extension of the faulty attachments (DON'T hit enter), then in the associate box, enter the correct path to the executable for the application. Then hit OK. You can also use File Types in explorer but that isn't always as effective.
