Awesome, that is definetly a feat to be proud of, just one for set of letters you can add (chuckle chuckle)

Three actually. I'm working on CDIA+ now. I have a couple of exams for other certs (CAST & CTP) I need to take before the end of the year, but then it is full-blown CDIA+.

Congrats glister.. I just passed mine on Friday as well.

You got all of these certs listed down there, I'm just curious what you do for work??? You've got about $3500 in testing listed there just in exam costs.....not counting all the books and other things you use. Hope it's all payin of for ya..

nay.

what helped you prepare for the HTI+ exam and what kind of jobs on the market do you see out there?

thanks,
-bb1.

A lot of experience helped me prepare for the HTI+. I was an SME for the exam so I had sort of an unfair advantage.

As far as jobs, I'm an independent consultant so I can pick and choose the jobs I want to work. I do a lot of home theater and audio. a little automation. always computer work.

My best advice would be to grab the exam objectives from the CompTIA site and start working down the list, building your own personal library of resources as you go.
