Hi All,
Recently, the company I am F/T working for wants me to work as a contractor. The job is still the same, VFP programming for the software I have been working on in the past 8 years.

I need helps regarding this matter;
- Copyright. The company doesn't want to claim the copyrights for any future work I will do for them. However, They do claim the copyrights for all the work I did for them. Therefore, what will happen if I use something I developed for them in the past for my future work, including classes, forms or programs? For instance, they want to keep the existing interfaces in any future new development. If I do so, how can the copyright of such a software be specified?

-Are there somewhere I can get some materials to help me to start as a VFP contractor? For instance,
* what is the proper working procedure for a contact
based programmer?
* how to prepare a contract for a small VFP
software developement project?
* how to calculate the developement charges?
* how to calculate the developement costs?
* how to manage a small software developement project?

I am a new VFP contractor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
