Hello All

I am an Oracle DBA and need to work with SQLServer. Could any of you help me with Titles/Authors of books that address the following:
a) SQLServer Database Administration
b) T-SQL Beginners/Intermediate/Advanced
c) Understanding SQLServer (Beginners)

Thanks In Advance

I have found "Transact-SQL" by Amo from IDG books very helpful for reference.

Also, "SQL Server 7 in Record Tim" (they have for other versions of SQL Server also) by Gunderloy and Chipman from Sybex.

Hope these help! :) BeckahC

I have used "Professional SQL Server 7.0 Programming" by
Robert Viera as a good refernce.

It covers all topics from beginning through advanced. It also covers everthing from t-sql, to EM, desing, admin, etc. Not just one or two topics.

Also check out "Microsoft SQL Server 2000 DBA Survival Guide" by Mark Sperik and Orryn Sledge.

My favorite T-SQL Tome is "The Guru's Guide to Transact SQL" by Ken Henderson. JHall

Thank You JHall156

Appreciate your help :)
