Hi
I´ve ghost one computer and want to log onto the novell network, the problem occure when the window login box appears. I use administrator and passw. I get the resault
"A domain controller could not be found for the specific domain." If I try with another passw the "wrong passw" appears. I´ve check that the context is right in the "novell login". Whats wrong?

Lemme see if this is right: You un-ghosted an NT4 ghost onto this station that your getting this error. If so, you must remove the computer from the domain, run NEWSID (search internet, it's free) and then join it back to the domain.

NT4 and the domain controller setup a SID number (Security ID number) and it's unique per system. You cannot have two or more systems can have the same SID number or the domain controller will refuse to let them log on.

When using ghost with NT/2000/XP in domains, you MUST run the NEWSID software and the computer must be re-attached to the domain afterwards.
