Switch: IP500V2
Release: 6.0(18)
Http Server: HFS
IP Office gives out DHCP to the telephones, the HFS server houses all the files for the 16xx and 96xx phones. The 9650 will hit the HFS server, download the appropriate files and then come up and look normal. The minute the customer hits the speaker button or picks up the handset the phone reboots and starts the process all over again.
Has anyone seen this before or know of a fix????

Sounds like the phone is not upgraded.
Also please upgrade the ipo to 6.01.8 or you will find it defaulted one day!!!

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

The IP Office is currently at 6.0.18 and the phone downloads the files from the http server. I see it hit and see the phone download.

I saw 6.0.8 :-)
Set the ipo as file server (tftp and http) and see if it makes any difference.
The ipo can be the fileserver so there is no need for a separate fileserver.
