9611G R6.0 Upgrade

Hi, Anyone remember how to upgrade a 9611G that's still on R6.0? I just came across 2 new phones that must have been deep in our vendor's warehouse... and they don't even seem to be hitting the HTTP server for upgrades. I'm not sure if they require TFTP and a step up to another old rev before I can get it current.

Avaya doesn't seem to have any docs on this old release anymore.

look at the HTTP logs
I know 96x0 phones might have looked of 96x0upgrade.scr or 96xxupgrade.txt

See if you got a 404 and that phone is looking for the upgrade file under a different/old name

Hi Kyle, thanks for the response. The phone was in the UK, I was not and it was a holiday, so no one could check. Fortunately, I was able to find a 9611G w/ R6.0 fw in my office today and finally figured out the issue... the fw does not like using the hostname of the HTTP server in the 242 scope option. Changed it to the IP address and voila!
