strange issues while 9508s are twinned with T7406e wireless phones.
The config is IP500v2 R8.1
There are 2 Combo ATM cards and one DS16 expansion module for the Avaya phones and a TCM 8 for the connection to the T7406e wireless base station with 3 stations connected to it.
The problems are:
When the 9508 is twinned to a 7406 the calls to the 7406 extension (eg. x131) do not ring the wireless handset. They ring to the caller and then go to the voicemail of the 9508.
We have Auto Answer on intercom active on the sets but when a call is active on the 7406 that is twinned to the 9508 any call to the 9508 is not Auto Answered. It rings instead.
So they cannot call a user that they know is away from their desk and is on the wireless directly at the wireless ext and they cannot "Dial Direct" to the desk phone if anyone is active on the twinned wireless ext.
I will be testing with wired extension twinning later today to see if I can duplicate the problem with all wired stations.
But any ideas would be appreciated.
