I am wondering if anyone is willing to test something to confirm if what I am seeing is for real.

I am setting up coverage buttons on 9508s. I see 3 issues:

1. It looks like the way coverage is presented to the users with a coverage appearance is different between 9508s and 9608s. Basically the 9608 will show "CallerId>Target" 9508 doesn't seem to do that. On 9608 If you are on a call and a covered call comes to you it only shows the caller ID not the user you are covering. I see this as a bug as well. It should work the same no matter the state of the call. 9508 doesn't do any of this.

2. If I use a BM12 and put my first coverage on button 25 this creates PAGE 4 on the 9508! Basically this makes redundant buttons on the phone. If I remove button 25 the phone reverts to three pages of 8 so Avaya hasn't given us and extra 8 buttons. Then I tried to put a coverage button on button 40 with no BM12 and I did not get the extra pages.

3. No matter what settings i try on the 9508 mainly Auto Display Waiting Call, I cannot stop the page from changing to the page with the coverage button on it. I do not recall it working this way, As I remember you should be able to stop this from happening.

It also appears this is on 9.0 as well. Our in house system is 9.0 and I just put a cover button on and I've got 5 pages. this is on a 9608 with an SBM 24.
