8i to 9i upgrade - post tuning

Hi Techies,

I am currently importing my 8i data into 9i on AIX 5.3. I now wish to tune/set parameters relevant for perfornce in 9i, mostly because my import is running slower.
I am new to 9i (scheduled for 9i course soon), so I am looking for basic tuning parameters (in DB and OS) to tune for faster import times. The tablespaces are all dictionary managed. Any suggestions.?
