8700 alarm

Hi,

I've got a warning alarm on the 8700 showing an issue with one of the ethernet ports.

0 NIC0 1 WRN N Tue Aug 04 10:12:38 BST 2009 tg3: eth1: Link is down.

I've tried checking and everything looks fine. Can someone advise what are the best commands/actions to perform on checking this? FYI the server is not local to me.

Have you tried 'Display communication-interface link' ?
