8500 or Modular Msg Training

Avaya training is licensed by Avaya, it is not like CISCO where just about anyone can go and many third party schools and ceters teach it. The short answer to your question is no.
While a few companys offer training in some of the smaller systems made by avaya (IP Office, Key Systems et al) I am not aware of any recognized training center or company other then Avaya via Summaria Networks aka learning center.
One of the biggest advantages Telecom (Avaya Telecom) folks have in this converging IT world over the Data folks is brought on by this issue.
In other words, I can go to any data class and or certification class for data equipment, Cisco, MS, Oracle etc. Whereas a data technician wishing to learn the s8500 without a company to sponsor him is impossible.
Sorry to digress. In short if you want the Avaya training you pay the Avaya price.
