824 DR5 and NAM VM issues

I have two sites with 824s DR5 and NAM 4.1 Voicemails...
One of them has the division VP on it..His phone has his DID on one button and two ITCM internal appearances. About 90% of his calls are via the DID....He wants his secretary to be able to answer his calls if he is on the phone or away and then if he is in but on another call, she can transfer the call back to him....BUT with the DID only showing on one button, that doesnt work! I tried sending the DID to his ITCM buttons by setting his set as PRIME on the DID Line programming...but for some reason, when we do that, his SECRETARY's mailbox answers his DID calls!! (His DID line is still on her phone)...
SO HOW THE HE** can I do this? (other than throwing out the KSU and putting a REAL PBX in its place? He came from another division that has Option 11s..need I say more? ;)
I need HIS DID to appear twice on his phone and also HER phone OR if he is on one DID call, I need the next one to go to HER set (DID or Answer DN appearance) so she can answer it, etc. I have tried several configs and her VM answers HIS DID in most any setup unless I take his DID off her phone...(if I can through a CO trunk via Auto Attendant, HIS VM answers!!! HELP!!)
Gawd, I miss my ROLM CBXs....(hhhhmmmm time to put the 9200 with PhoneMail in service here..it would work better than this 824...I dont think the MICS would solve this issue?!)

ANY ideas, comments would be GREATLY appreciated....

have you tried making her ext. as his fwd on busy? also, set her MB to answer after more rings then his phone (hers 6 rings and his 4 rings). this way, if her phone rings at the same time his does, it will go to his vm before hers...i may be missing something, hope this helps
 
Do the more rings on her phone like SUB said. Make the prime for the did his set so if apperance is busy it will ring his intercom keys.Then put his did and an answer dn on her phone this way if either the DID or intercon keys ring it will ring on her phone. The newer mics and S/W does this in a cleaner way.
 
I always advise not to use forward busy on reception or secrateries sets, they usually have to deal with multiple calls. If the boss wants his secretary to answer his calls when he is on a call then forward busy to the secretary. she can transfer it to his mailbox or interrupt him to give him the call.
