Is it a bug? I've modified a subreport outside of the main report, cnamed it to comply with the new functionality however when I insert the subreport into the main report, it holds on to a funky name of a couple revisions ago and not the new name I've choosen resulting in a rather confusing scenario for any future programmer to ponder. Any ideas why this is so, is it unavoidable at 8.5 and something I'll need to live with?

Anyone? Many thanks in advance for your input/comments.

Hi,
Try deleting the exiting sub from the main report and then insert the renamed one ( not re-import, actually insert as if it were a new one)...
See if that helps..

I tried every which way. The File>Summary is correct, doesn't effect the end result in any way. Actually, once imported you cannot see or modify the summary inside a subreport.

Thanks for your input.
