780 yellow is muddy/dark

we had a black toner dump it's guts in our printer last week (aftermarket toner!). toner supplier had teks clean it, but know the yellow is dark (even straight yellow service prints). they tell us the dev units are contaminated and may eventually clean themself after many prints.

does anyone have any other possible solutions?
