Quick question I have a CAT 6513 with dual SUP 720's in slot 7 and 8 IOS ver 12.2 (18) SXD3. I was reading a Cisco Doc on configuring EHSA that states I have to have the SUP's in slot 1& 2 for the redundant operation to work??

Is this correct any thought?

THX ALL..

The statement is applicable to Supervisor1, Supervisor2 and Supoervisor32's only. The Sup720 MUST be installed in slots 7 & 8 to work in a 6513 chassis. Redundancy is supported.

redundancy
mode sso
main-cpu
auto-sync running-config

you probably want to change the mode to NSF - non stop failover..
