65 calls active on a TN2302 MedPro

Since we upgraded to CM 3.1.2 (from 2.2) we see some Medpros (TN2302AP, FW 111) showing 65 calls active (status media-processor board xxxx) on a single DSP while all the other 7 DSP’s don’t have any calls. Our switch is pretty busy so all the normal working Medpros have about one call per DSP so having none on 7 DSP’s is strange, not to mention having 65 on just one.
Has anyone seen this before?

I had a conversation with about how this is assigned and they sadi that each version of software has a different algorithm for allocating resource. We needed some Witness agents to be allocated to a Medpro which was on region 7 but they were being allocated to a medpro in region 1. My work around was to make the medpros to region 10 and voila, they now register to the correct medpro. This is not going to solve your problem but it seems that on CM3, this does not share the load properly. Sorry, not much help.
