I have a question about the difference between 64bit processors and 32 bit ones.
What are the implications of using one over the other. Does a 64bit processor mean a processor that processes 64bits of information per a cycle?
If that was the case should it not be twice as fast in real terms than a 32bit.
Or does the software have to be 64bit and what would this mean in laymans terms.
Cheers
