One of my users is getting an NDR returned to them from certain domains. The NDR states 552 too much mail data. Does anyone know what the fix is, or what this means? I am running Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2000.
Thanks

Typically it means that the destination mailbox is full.

Is your user sending to an extreme amount of recipients? If a certain amount of data was to come into our e-mail system that exceeded a set amount of recipients, the system would deem it to be spam. And it would then just break the connection. Here is a link to a place that gives an additional explaination to the "552" error code. Hope it helps.

The user was only sending to two recipients. It was a reply to a reply to a reply could that have something to do with it? This user has had this trouble with multiple mailboxes and multiple domains.
