IS-IT--Management
We have started receiving bounce backs from our ISP on one particular clients emails. The message reports the error as:
SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<Rajive.Sachdev@higginsconstruction.co.uk>:
host grp202218.higginsconstruction.co.uk [213.121.170.232]:
550 Rule imposed as a.wiggins@hunterpartners.co.uk is believed to be an open relay
I have spoken to our ISP, and they have assured us that we are not on any blacklists, and to speak to the client as that is probably where the problem is.
So I have spoken to the client, and they have said that we are not being blocked by them!
So who is telling the truth, and are there any other reasons why I would be getting this message, if I am supposedly not being blocked by anyone!!
Thanks in advance
Andy
