5410 BIN File Update

Have an IP office 500 with DS expansion units

Running on 4.0 (5) for last 5 months with no problems

Recently ordered 2 x new 5410's

Plugged in to DS30 module.

Unit requests BIN file

TFTP log shows 5410.R2.bin file being downloaded

Keeps looping Download after download

If the phone downloaded the firmware and then reboots, plug it onto another jack.

I had the same problem. Avaya already has this up at tier 4. Avaya seems to think that the 5410 Binary files were getting corrupted. I had to replace the sets as out of the box failures to correct the problem.

This is not a corrputed bin file issue.

A reseller of mine had 7 doing the same.

I tried mine here and it worked fine, thus proving my bin files etc.

This reseller brought me all 7 of his and they did not work on my previously proved good system.

I think this may be a batch problem.

That is very possible. We had 7 5410's out of approximatley 50 sets do this.
