The minimum (cheapest) phone supported on Teleworker is the 5020 (p/n 50000380) which is no longer available, but you can probably find it from one of the secondary market resellers.
Probably about the least expensive "new" phone (still in production as far as I know) that supports the Teleworker is the 5212 (p/n 50004890).

No, the minimum set that works is always the lowest button set.
For example, you would need a 5212 or a 5215 (12 and 7 button set respectfully). These are the lowest you can go.
You could also consider using YA (YourAssistant) which is a software application.
