500 line to ring down to emergency number 3

Could someone please help me with programing a 500 line for an elevator phone to automatically ring another number?

John, Thanks for the help as well.

However, when I program the FTR I get an error of:

ITEM ftr hot d xxxxx( x= the number to be dialed)
SCH3058

I'm also doing this from ld 20 in CHG mode. Should I be in LD 10? or does it matter?

try format hot d y xxxx
where y equals the number of digits in xxxx.
so if its a 4 digit ext. put in 4 for y.
