Any hints and tips for using the newer compiler?

Your old code should compile without a problem with the new compiler. The only concern is with commands and functions that Clipper has declared obsolete (but still work) and should be replaced with a new equivalent one.

The most you should notice is that your apps should be more stable, cause the VM system is much more mature.
