4620 IP - error code 1281

just a minor query...

I have 5 4620 handsets off an s8300, all function fine but continually create Warnings and the error code 1281 which equates to "This error type indicates that the terminal is reporting a bad state of health"

Test 1373 fails with an error code of 1412 but this is not mentioned in the documentation.

Any ideas anyone?

It looks as if 1373 is a signaling path ping test. And the other error is probably related. Most likely the phones have trouble from time to time connecting to the server. You may want to watch your network for a spike in network traffic around the time of the errors.
 
Thanks I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days. The only thing is we use a P333-PWR switch for handset connectivity rather than our network switches, the 4624 handsets we have onsite work perfectly, only the 4620s have issues
 
No problem. I am very new to this actually. We only have 4612 and 4624 ip phones here. We run them off of the wall warts and a Definity 9.2 release switch. We actually have so many errors for these IP phones it is not funny. One of the error codes being 1372 and 1373. So i know where you are coming from.

Make sure the POE firmware on the P333 switch is up to date.
