Has anyone seen a 4550 go offline at different times of the day? It will be in the middle of the job and just go offline. There are no error events or network problems that have been found. Thanks for any help in advance.

4550 goes offline randomly

A few hints... Print an eventlog off the printer. If it shows any 68.XX or 8X.XX there is reason to be suspecious about the networkcard. Is never a bad idea to check for newer firmwares for the JetDirect card (if using such ?) and update it. A combination of FW and driver update to the latest usually solves these problems.
