406V1 running 3.2.17 have 2 PRI cards one in slot A other in Slot B.

Have timing set on B to network and have timing on A set to unsuitable..
Problem I am having is carrier is seeing slips on B and customer is having fax issues.. but phones all seem to be fine..

I am using monitor and all I can see is a message FALC 5 slip.. I assume that is referring to slot B..

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tryed reversing the timing between the two cards?

Since you have FALC 5 then the card in slot B is the one complaining so I would try setting it to fallback and slot A to network.

Falc 5 means you are seeing frame slippage on the circuit that is number 5 in the manager prog.

Do a search on the 3.2 docs cd, you will find a good description of what falc5 is.

I cant seem to find the same thing on the v4 cd.

Yes line 5 is slot B. Line 1 is slot A and Line 2 is the second PRI of a dual PRI card installed in slot A. FALC 5 refers to line 5.

Yes I have tried to change the timimg aroung and have Slot A to Network and Slot B as fallback.. same issue.

thinking it is a carrier issue but, not sure yet..

The way to test to see if it is a carrier issue is to swap PRIs. You would have to swap your trunk group numbers assuming that they are different. If the problem follows the T-1 circuit then it is likely a carrier issue.

I did do that after last post waiting to see if the results.

tahnks for all of your help.
